ritts requested a biniki seel picture, and a few other people supported the idea. also thought it'd be fun, so here it is!
i think i got a little carried away with it though 8( it's been a while since i actually spent time on a piece of artwork (D;;; i'd imagine lying down in a pond on some rocks wouldn't really be too comfortable though. also, big head. uhg. ENJOY ALSO, i'll be selling the original at Anthrocon this year. so keep an eye out for it. i like....never sell originals, so this is a rare opportunity. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-08-25Dreamsong by *seel-dingo: Markers and gouache, the coloring of this is just precious, her giddy charm expression is winning me over, specially how the hand is posed, and the body curves feature the wonders of her feminine anatomy. But what made me fall in love with this image was the water. The subtle water line, you can't really see but you feel. A wonderful combination of technique, details, and overall composition and perspective. (Featured by `skifi) Comments  hay can I have sum skillz, plz?

The water looks really good! was this drawn with markers? I don't know if I could even imagine drawing water with markers  -- I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with a tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri rock! I need scissors! Sixty-one! the first layer was done with markers, and the second layer was done with gouache :3

-- Oh yea bitches!!!  I've always been a little curious as to why your seel-fursona? has large bushy eyebrows. I don't recall seeing an explanation for them, but then again I've only been a recent watcher of your work.
Also, I've also been rather curious as to why your 'anthro' pictures don't seem covered in fur. They seem much more like the markings and such are more of their skin tone. Of course I'm not discouraging this, I find it rather interesting. But, um, ah, this rocks, a lot. Great colorin'! -- >8c hahaha i dunno what you wanna know about the eyebrows really....she just has....bushy eyebrows XD;; it's a feature i like, so i added them to the character :3

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
